Mali's largest jihadist coalition announced that it had captured a Russian mercenary from the Wagner group

The group close to Vladimir Putin was allegedly hired by the country's military junta to fight Islamists. The capture would be a retaliation for a massacre that the Russians carried out last month in Moura, in the center of the African country
