Questions continue after the accident that ended Freddy Rincón's life

More than a week after the accident that ended Freddy Rincón's life, mourning took over the football world and precisely his department, Valle del Cauca. However, in the midst of this situation that disturbs sports, doubts continue about the confusing accident in which the Buenos Aires man died, different hypotheses have arisen and there is still an attempt to establish the whereabouts of the people who fled as soon as the van in which they were mobilizing collided.

The authorities are still questioning who was the driver in charge of the vehicle, because although the knock was on the driver's door, some versions point out that the driver was the same 'Colossus' of Buenaventura, this fact has been rejected by the victim's sons, since they claim that it is illogical that this was the case, bearing in mind that the person who would have been most affected would be the passenger.

Diana Lorena Cortés, one of the women who was driving the car, would have given her statement and according to her; Freddy Rincón was driving the car, in addition, according to the newspaper El País, Harold Saa, a friend of the former player and one of the people who was with him the night before the accident, would also have pointed out that the former flyer I was driving the vehicle.

According to Saa's version, on Sunday night April 10, Freddy Rincón attended a restaurant about race 39 with seven more people, where he would have eaten with this group, then left and surely would have driven. It should be noted that the late former player was at Saa's house that night, shared with his friends and talked about football, this was one of the favorite and almost fixed plans of Rincón and his friends for the weekends.

The Ministry of Mobility of Cali was one of the first institutions to arrive at the events, this, hand in hand with the traffic agents who normally deal with this type of accident in the city, after obtaining the details of the scene; they made maps and sketches with details that allow the investigation to be directed, these data were handed over to the Cali Sectional Prosecutor's Office, to begin to recapitulate what happened, build the scene that would help determine what happened.

On the other hand, the only camera that currently allows evidence of what happened is one that is located in a building on race 34, this device made it possible to show that two people got out of the vehicle and took a taxi that went south to north on 5th street, this car made an irregular turn over the MIO Stadium station and picked up those people. So far there are no data on the subjects, however, the taxi driver has already been identified and will be going in the next few days to give his statements together with his defense.

The questions persist because of the way in which these people evaded the matter, since they fled the scene without even waiting for the authorities or minimal medical intervention. If it is found that not one of the evaders were driving the injured vehicle, the judicial course could become more acute, considering that the crime of wrongful death could be charged, otherwise the legal consequences could even be nil, according to specialists consulted by El País.

The accident in which Freddy Rincón died occurred last Monday, April 11, south of the city of Santiago de Cali, this when the vehicle in which he was transporting crossed race 34 passing the red light, and then collided with a MIO feeder bus that was traveling north/south along fifth street.
