The controversial military operation carried out in Putumayo in which 11 civilians were killed will now be investigated by the Attorney General's Office. The operation was presented by the Ministry of Defense (MinDefense) as an achievement against drug trafficking because the deceased were guerrillas, but days later it became known that they were really civilians who were in a bazaar that sought to collect funds for a fingerprint badge.
