Members of the Specialized Unit for Combating Kidnapping (UECS) arrested José Artemio Maldonado Mejía, alias El Michoacano and/or Rabias, identified as leader of Pueblos Unidos, four months after he escaped from the Social Readaptation Center in Tula, Hidalgo.
