Juan Fernando Petro, brother of presidential candidate Gustavo Petro, was admitted to an emergency clinic in Bogotá on the afternoon of April 13. Apparently, the man was stung by a scorpion a week ago and, although he had been under medical care, the animal's venom continues to wreak havoc on his body.
It should be noted that this happened a day after Fernando Petro visited several prisoners in La Picota, a fact that generated controversy.
