Piter Albeiro, Freddy Beltrán, El Mindo and Hassam returned to the kitchens of 'MasterChef Celebrity'

This Monday, only two contestants from the current season of 'MasterChef Celebrity' had to continue competing while the others took a short break. Pamela Ospina and Chicho Arias were the participants who had to continue preparing their best dishes, but this time in the company of their colleagues.

Several of the comedians who have been part of previous seasons were invited to the program: Freddy Beltrán, who was in last season and Piter Albeiro (winner of the first season of the 'Celebrity' edition) were some of the calls to dust off their culinary knowledge, those that led them to be references both in cooking and humor.

'Juanda Caribe', 'El Mindo' and Rogelio Pataquiva -Hassam - were the other comedians who put on the apron marked with their names again, undertaking the same mission as in their days as contestants: to impress the juries, including Jorge Rausch, who was present evaluating their preparations at the end of the challenge of 'The Box mysterious' and which consisted of making preparations with canned tuna.

The challenge was in pairs, but seeing that there were seven contestants, there were two duets and a trio, which was made up of Piter Albeiro, Juanda Caribe and El Mindo. On the other hand, Pamela made a duo with Hassam, and Chicho cooked for the first time alongside Freddy Beltrán.

Throughout the challenge, in which no immunity pin was at stake, much less a black apron, the comedian Paisa tried to entangle the Bogotá who, given the questions she asked her in English, combined this language with Spanish in the answers, generating laughter among the cook of the current season; let alone the moment in that Christopher Carpentier appeared characterized as Claudia Bahamón with a blonde wig and the imitation of a tone of voice similar to that of the presenter.

Chicho said during the test that, “There is a lot of comedian, that has to go wrong” while Beltrán made jokes about the loss of liquor in the pantries.

After the time of that test (Claudia Bahamón, personified by the Chilean chef, counted down), the first to be called to the lectern were Chicho and Freddy. Both presented a Lima cause as a cold dish, and a pizza like hot. Both were well received by the three experts, but Nicolás said he needed “more perrenque” and stated that the pizza lacked crispness. Carpentier stated that the second preparation was raw and Rausch said, stating that, “Freddy was brought to lose.”

Pamela and Hassam made, as a cold dish, a bass tuna, while the hot one was a 'baryllazo to the paladar', made up of an eggplant lasagna made by the comedian. The three judges agreed with the good taste of Rogelio's preparation, and Rausch said that the cold was “raw”.

“I reward him for the effort because he went to the fixed: he got into doing something he couldn't do,” the bogotano told Pamela for the taste of his creation that was well valued in plating.

Finally, the Santanderean, Mindo and Juanda Caribe made, as a cold dish, a tuna with dressing accompanied with basil, while hot was made by croquettes accompanied with pineapple, and it was this fruit that generated reproaches among experts, especially in Carpentier and Zubiria.

However, with all that, the trio of cooks managed to win the challenge, showing that Piter Albeiro retains his flavor and leaving aside the current participants of the season who represent the comedians.
