'MasterChef Celebrity': “Everyone eats chicken... aha”, Tostao went up with his team to the balcony

A new group competition took place in 'Masterchef Celebrity' in which 4 teams competed for the salvation of wearing the dreaded black apron. On this occasion, the captaincies were led by Tostao, Corozo, Chico and Aida Morales, who throughout the previous challenges won the long-awaited immunity pins.

“The ones who are with the pins today are my keys, with any of them I would be working very, very well,” said Aco Pérez.

Before giving the rules of the team challenge, Claudia Bahamón warned that only the winning team of the night would not wear the black apron. There, Tostao, who was the surprise of this cycle, expressed the happiness generated by being one of the holders of the immunity pin and acting as captain of one of the teams.

“Very well, I feel happy, it is an indescribable situation... captain is captain and where captain commands no sailor,” Tostao said.

With Carolina Gómez temporarily out of the competition, the group that was participating this time was 15 cooks, so 3 teams of 4 members and one of 3 cooks were formed. To add some spice to the moment, 4 knives were placed in the lectern each with the number of members formed as follows:

- Aida Morales as captain of the green team selected Cristina Campuzano, Aida Bossa and Aco Pérez.

- Chicho captain of the red team chose Carlos Baez and Ramiro Meneses.

- Corozo led the blue team by choosing Tatan Mejia, Manuela Gonzalez and Natalia Ramirez.

- Tostao led the purple team with the help of Pamela, Isabella and Estiwar G.

In this team challenge, there were several difficulties that arose in this competition, because as a first step the diners who tried the dishes were 15 but added to this, the cooks only had 3 minutes available to take as much food as possible from the pantry.

“Entering the pantry for three minutes is a limitation,” said Manuela González, a topic that Cristina Campuzano complemented with her opinion on the matter: “because we don't really know what the challenge is and we don't know who we're going to cook for.”

Group challenges are the ones that generate the most controversy in the 'Masterchef Celebrity' competition as celebrity egos begin to emerge for demonstrating who has control of the captaincy. That was what happened on March 31 in a new episode in which there were disagreements between the members of the group that made up Tosato, Isabella Santiago, Pamela and Estiwar G.

At the time of making the decision to deliberate what preparation would be presented to the diners, there was a slight dispute between Tostao, captain of the purple team and Pamela, one of its members because the comedian did not agree with the dish that the singer proposed.

“When I saw the diners, I thought about the ingredient that my first Latin Grammy gave me, let's go with the chicken. We are going to have a barbecue, so that you understand,” Tostao told the members of his team.

However, Pamela did not agree from the beginning with the preparation and this is what she said: “Initially that dish sounded very fifi, as for the public... it is to think about the hijuep$% & community”, stressed the comedian.

There, seeing Pamela's disagreement, Tostao intervened and asked her to calm down because she didn't like her attitude towards her proposals: “I don't like your last five minutes and now you're applying them for the first five minutes, relax, trust... this is Bogotá, this isn't Medellin, this isn't Canada or New York.”

Finally, after the dispute between Tostao and Pamela, the team that led the singer was the winner of the team challenge with a score of 8.5. They were the winners of the night which allowed them to go up to the balcony and not be the bearers of the black apron this time.

“Very happy, the first time captain and the first time I won with my team, a total madness despite a theme that I cannot miss and that is that there was someone in the team who never believed in the dish,” Tostao said.
