Colombian writer Juan Gabriel Vasquez reappears in 2022 with a new book, following the publication of his most recent novel Back the View Back (2020), in which he explored the life of filmmaker Sergio Cabrera. The book received a very good reception from readers, both in Colombia and in Spain, and earned its author the Mario Vargas Llosa Biennial Novel Prize in 2021. Since then, not much has happened in literary matters for the famous novelist, except for one or another mention in the international press for his good present.
