Team Canada Launches Foundation
The Canadian Olympic Foundation launched the Olympians Supporting Olympians Bursary to financially support athletes bound for Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022.
Over 80 athletes were nominated by respective National Sport Organizations, with funding provided by donations from Team Canada alumni.

Team USA Unveils New Campaign
The USOPC launches "We Are Team USA", a campaign celebrating Olympians and Paralympians preparing for Tokyo 2020.
Athletes featured throughout the campaign include David Boudia (diving), Allyson Felix (track and field), Lex Gillette (para track and field), Laurie Hernandez (gymnastics) and many more.

Tokyo 2020 Says 100 Days to Make History
The organizing committee for Tokyo 2020 held many events throughout the city, including the Tokyo offices and Mount Takao.
"Together, the world has faced an unprecedented crisis and Tokyo 2020 is committed to offering a light of hope and solace this summer. The Games will be a celebration of resilience, of solidarity, and of our shared humanity." Tokyo 2020 President Hashimoto Seiko said in a statement.

ICF Says 100 Days Offer Reflection
The 100 day milestone offers members of the sports community a chance to reflect, according to International Canoe Federation president Jose Perurena.
"Our athletes have worked so hard to get here. The Tokyo Olympics will send a message, that we are not going to let Covid beat us. We are strong as a community, and we are going to win this fight." said Perurena.

World Athletics Focuses on the Olympic Stadium
World Athletics marked the 100 days to go with a feature story on the newest Olympic Stadium as well as previous ones.
The Tokyo venue, officially completed in November 2019, was built on the site of the stadium that hosted the Summer Games in 1964.
