(ATR) Visitors roaming around the coastal cluster will find two interesting innovations.

First it’s PyeongChang’s adorable white tiger mascot Soohorang in a mechanical version. This audio animatronic model is about six feet tall and moves around as audio in the Korean language plays. A stool is located next to Soohorang so visitors sit and pose for photos.

Unfortunately these displays aren’t always animated, as they need a support person to start them and watch over them. Nonetheless they are quite popular with visitors who stand in line for this unique photo opportunity.

Not willing to wait more than an hour to get into the park’s superstore to buy PyeongChang 2018 souvenirs?

At the exit to the superstore are four vending machines selling Olympic souvenirs and Visa wearable payment system cards.

Two of them have an assortment of mascot dolls and Olympic pins. The other two feature the Visa payment system gloves and wearable stickers.

For visitors on the run it provides a fast way to buy games souvenirs. The machines are quite busy and by days end are often sold out of merchandise.

Two cool things we have not seen at previous Olympics and would like to see again.
