Stadia & Arena Offers Exclusive Tour -- Conferences & Conventions

(ATR) Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific 2015 will offer an exclusive tour of Singapore Sports Hub during the conference set to take place in less than two weeks.

Leaders from the sports and venues industries will rendezvous in Singapore from September 28-30 for the 17th edition of the Stadia & Arena conference.

The hour-long free tour will take place on Monday the 28th, the first day of the conference. The tour will be behind-the-scenes and showcase the indoor stadium, Sports Hub Library, Singapore Sports Museum, water front area, Kallang Wave Mall and the National Stadium.

Only registered attendees will be able to access the tour.The tour is only available to a limited number of attendees and places will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Organizers say the event will be the largest gathering of industry professionals in the region.

Date Set for Second Edition of The Academy

Olympic Museum in LausanneTSE Consulting will host the second edition of The Academy on June 1 and 2, 2016.

The Academy will once again take place in Lausanne, Switzerland at the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee and the Olympic Museum.

The first edition of the event saw leaders across the sports world converge in Lausanne for the hybrid conference and seminar. The event is designed to help sport leaders take their organizations to the next level through the open exchange of ideas and expert-led presentations.

Year two of The Academy will have an updated program and specialized guest speakers. Organizers say the conference will equip leaders with the tools they need to face the daily challenges in the industry.

Registration will open at the end of October.

Host City 2015 Attracts Big Name Speakers

More sponsors and partners continue to sign up for the Host City 2015 conference that will take place at the Technology and Innovation Center in Glasgow, Scotland from November 9-10.

The latest additions to the speakers list include chief operating officer of the Baku 2015 European Games Simon Clegg and Commonwealth Games Federation chief executive officer David Grevemberg. Other big name speakers include WADA president Sir Craig Reedie, ITU president Marisol Casado and Rio 2016 president Carlos Nuzman.

Organizers of the event say it will be the largest European-based gathering of international federations, event owners and rights holders, suppliers and event destination markets.

Sponsors who have signed on for the conference include World Wrestling Entertainment, Bern Tourism, Rock-it-Cargo and UK Trade and Investment. The organizers say even more will sign up in the near future.

The 2015 conference program has been finalized and can be found here. This year, the themes to be discussed include "Live Entertainment in the City." "Creative Marketing through Events, Brands and Media" and "Football in Europe’s Cities."
