Orange Romania signed on to be the official sponsor of the European Youth Winter Olympic Festival in Brasov, Romania.

The telecommunications company will provide free wireless in the sports venues, as well as hotels for the event.

Attendants of the festival will also be able to "test mobile internet services in the specially equipped vehicle of the 4G Orange Tour program".

Brasov 2013 runs Feb. 17 through 22.

G4S Losing $110 Million

G4S will lose approximately $110 million to settle its contract after the security firm failed to deliver the adequate number of security officers for the 2012 Olympics.

An agreement with G4S and LOCOG was reached on Monday after the two sides negotiated a final settlement. G4S was contracted to provide 10,400 security personnel as part of its $375 million contract.

Prior to the Games, British soldiers and police were summoned to cover the shortfall.

Initial estimates for G4S said the firm would lose more than $78 million due to the fiasco.

"The UK Government is an important customer for the group and we felt that it was in all of our interests to bring this matter to a close in an equitable and professional manner without the need for lengthy legal proceedings," G4S CEO Nick Buckles said on Tuesday.

Infostrada Teams with IOC

Infostrada Sports Group signed a service provider contract for all Olympics through 2020.

Under the deal, Infostrada will provide biographies, historical results and records information.

Jean-Benoit Gauthier, IOC Technology Director, said: "The expertise Infostrada Sports Group provides is key to the media's coverage of the Olympic Games. They have proven themselves over many Olympic Games as a reliable provider and experts in this field."

Infostrada provides sports data, and will work in conjunction with TOP sponsors Atos and Omega for the Sochi Olympics.
