(ATR) International Federations, NOCs, and other sport governing bodies send messages for a happy holiday season.

(ATR) International Federations, NOCs, and other sport governing bodies send messages for a happy holiday season and New Year.

AIBA

Sending season's greetings, the International Boxing Association wishes the Olympic Movement "everlasting happiness, peace, and success" for the New Year.

ANOC

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, president of the Association of National Olympic Committees, sends the "warmest season's greetings."

In his message for the holidays, on behalf on ANOC, Ahmad also wishes success to everyone participating in next year's Rio Olympics.

Australian Olympic Committee

In a statement to Around the Rings, the media team for the Australian Olympic Committeesaid, "Thank you everyone for your support throughout 2015 and all have a safe and happy Xmas."

CGF

With "best wishes for the festive season," the Commonwealth Games Federation sends season's greetings to the Olympic Movement.

In a message for 2016, City Events wishes the Olympic Movement a happy New Year.

World Athletics leaders are wishing "everyone in the global athletics family a merry Christmas and a very happy, peaceful and prosperous New Year!"

In a card posted to its website, the International Association of Athletics Federations celebrates "a memorable 12 months of competition" in 2015.

Jochen Farber, head of IOC President Thomas Bach's executive office, sends warm wishes for the holiday season.

In a statement to ATR, Farber said, "Please allow me to wish you quiet and festive holiday season.

"Merry Christmas and all the best for a certainly challenging, but interesting Olympic Year 2016."

ITF

In a festive graphic, the International Tennis Federation sends season's greetings and wishes for a happy New Year.

The media team for the Japan Sports Council sends its messages for the New Year.

In a statement to ATR, Japan Sports Council said, "We wish you a very happy holiday season and a peaceful and prosperous New Year."

Lausanne 2020

Organizers for the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics are celebrating the holiday season by remembering a special moment from 2015.

In a video posted on Lausanne 2020's website, organizers commemorate the moment the city won the rights to host the 2020 Winter YOG.

Special Olympics

In a message for the holidays, the media team for the Special Olympics says, "On behalf of more 4.5 million athletes and their families and loved ones around the globe, Special Olympics would like to wish you a very happy holiday season.

"We look forward to 2016 and another great year of spreading the joy of sports, fostering respect for all, and building inclusive communities for people with intellectual disabilities. Join us."
