(ATR) Every athlete who competes at PyeongChang 2018 will receive a special edition Samsung phone.

More than 4,000 Samsung special edition phones will be delivered ahead of the 2018 Winter Olympics to athletes, IOC members, and other Olympic family members. Samsung said in a release that all athletes at the 2018 Paralympic Games will also receive a special edition phone featuring the Paralympic logo.

The phones will be the latest Samsung Galaxy S8 models with a number of Olympic upgrades. The phone will feature a white glass back with gold Olympic rings, pre-loaded PyeongChang 2018 themed wallpapers, and pre-loaded Olympic apps, according to Samsung. Unlike the Rio edition, the PyeongChang Samsung special edition will not be sold to the public.

"Samsung’s commitment to the Olympic Movement has increasingly enabled meaningful connections through innovative mobile technologies over the past 20 years," IOC President Thomas Bach said in a statement. "Samsung’s creation of an Olympic Games Limited Edition device reinforces Samsung and IOC’s shared desire to spread the Olympic spirit. It’s because of dedicated partners like Samsung that we’re in the position to provide unforgettable experiences at the Olympic Games time after time."

Athletes will receive the phone in a large special edition case for the phones. Each phone will come with Samsung’s S Pen and a dual camera.

The Coca-Cola freestyle app will direct consumers to different locations where they can unlock special edition flavors created by members of the U.S. Olympic Team.

These drinks are special edition mixes of Coca-Cola products and curated flavors chosen by team Coca-Cola athletes.

Consumers will be directed to locations of participating freestyle machines on the "Coca-Cola freestyle app". There users can scan a code on the machine, get access to the drinks, and be entered to win gift cards for Team USA gear.
