(ATR) U.S. Olympic broadcaster NBC wins gold in three of the four award categories for which it's eligible – and silver in the fourth.

NBC bagged gold in the "Best On Air Promotion", "Best Olympic Feature" and "Best Olympic Program" categories. Its lone silver came in the "Best Athlete Profile" category, won by TV Record in Brazil.

German broadcaster ZDF was the only other broadcaster to win multiple awards, a bronze in the "Best On Air Promotion" and "Best Olympic Feature" categories, both for "Olympia Live."

Gold in the "Best Olympic Sports Production" by Olympic Broadcasting Services went to its sailing coverage.

Multi-Channel Distribution Service won the Special Award for MDS.

The Golden Rings awards are handed out biennially in Lausanne.

Denis Oswald, chair of the London 2012 Coordination Commission, led the jury selecting the awards. Winners received prizes in the presence of IOC president Jacques Rogge, the organizing committees from London, Sochi and Rio as well as other Olympic dignitaries.
