Lima Stages Sport for All

Around the Rings is on the scene in Peru for this week’s 15th IOC World Conference on Sport for All.

Sessions run Wednesday through Saturday in the Miraflores district of Lima.

Speakers include IOC President Jacques Rogge, Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary-General on Sport for Development and Peace Wilfried Lemke, Vancouver Mayor Penny Ballem and a host of IOC members, among others.

Dubai Hosts Peace and Sport

Peace and Sport heads to Dubai this week for its first-ever regional forum.

Sessions run Tuesday and Wednesday at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel under the Patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council.

Attendees include Nawal El Moutawakel, IOC Vice President; HRH Prince Nawaf Faisal Fahd Abdulaziz, President of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees; Hicham El Gerrouj, middle distance Olympic and world champion; and FIFA Director Walter Gagg, among others.
