(ATR) The International Olympic Committee is making its final preparations to stage the Winter Olympics as the Games rapidly approach in South Korea.
Before the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics begin on Feb. 9, the IOC held its two-day Executive Board meeting. The meeting also preceded the IOC Session that begins Feb. 6.
Here, the IOC chose not to invite Olympic Athletes from Russia that won their Olympic suspension appeals at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The EB led by President Thomas Bach also issued a stern warning to the International Boxing Association to resolve perceived governance issues or face potential exclusion from future Games.
