FrancsJeux reports en francais on Indonesia's efforts to host the Olympics in 2032.

Les Jeux d’été en 2032 sont-ils déjà joués ? Les Australiens l’espèrent. Et ils sont nombreux, dans le mouvement olympique, à parier quelques billets sur la victoire du dossier porté par l’état du Queensland.

Mais un îlot de résistance refuse l’évidence. Il est situé en Asie, où la victoire de Pékin pour les Jeux d’hiver en 2022 a fini de convaincre les plus sceptiques que tout était toujours possible dans l’univers olympique. Candidate déclarée aux Jeux d’été en 2032, l’Indonésie croit en ses chances. Le pays entend profiter des Jeux de Tokyo 2020 pour mener campagne.

A la tête du projet, Raja Sapta Oktohari. A 44 ans, l’homme d’affaires originaire de Jakarta, fils d’un leader politique, vivra en juillet et août à Tokyo ses premiers Jeux dans son nouveau costume de président du comité national olympique. Il voit grand. Et il le dit.
