(ATR) FINA general secretary Cornel Marculescu tells Around the Rings the federation will help run the aquatics competitions at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

ATR editor Ed Hula speaks with FINA general secretary Cornel Marculescu about the challenges facing the federation ahead of the Games this August. Marculescu says that the federation will do its best to put on great events at Rio.

"Now is not the time to complain, it’s time to do as much as we can in the existing condition and to achieve the best possible event," Marculescu tells ATR. "This is what we are doing."

Marculescu also discusses the implications of the Zika virus on swimming events and the condition of Guanabara Bay.
