(ATR) The leader of an independent commission tells Around the Rings the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee is on track for cultural and governance changes.
In the latest edition of ATRadio, Lisa Borders talks with Editor Ed Hula about the work of the nine-member commission that was charged with making recommendations about fixes for the USOPC. The podcast brings the first extensive comments from Borders since the report was released last month.
Borders and her panel formed in June 2018 in the wake of the sexual abuse saga involving USA Gymnastics. Loaded with major recommendations for change, Borders says the findings and proposals of the commission are aimed at more than curing the ills of gymnastics.
