
(ATR) The Olympic Games will return to Italy for 2026.
The Milan-Cortina bid defeated Stockholm-Are in the bid for host city.
Both countries presented their bids to IOC members during the 134th IOC Session in Lausanne on Monday.
The final vote was 47-34, with one abstention.
2026 will be the fourth time Italy has hosted the Olympics, along with it's third winter game.
