The WBSC has announced that all 67 games for the 11th WBSC Jr. Women's Softball World Championship will be web-streamed. The 15-nation event begins 9 August in Oklahoma City, OK, USA at the headquarters of the USA national softball federation.

"We are extremely pleased that fans around the world will be able to support the next generation of softball athletes competing against their peers at our flagship event for this age group," WBSC Softball President Dale McMann said. "The sports world is continuing to shift its target to more youth-driven activities, and that's why the WBSC is particularly proud that softball and baseball, especially together, can make these events available for all to follow, even if fans are unable to make the event in person."

All games will be streamed live at no cost using a multi-camera system through the official event website. Beginning Thursday, 13 August, video coverage will feature play-by-play and color commentary, plus expanded coverage with in-game interviews, instant replays, and additional camera angles.

Play-by-play live scoring will also be available for the entirety of the championship.

Nations will be divided into two pools following the withdrawal three nations. Each national team will compete in a round-robin with the top four finishers from each pool advancing to the double page playoff round.

Pool A: Argentina, Canada, China, Colombia, Great Britain, Japan, and New Zealand

Pool B: Australia, Brazil, Chinese Taipei, Czech Republic, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and USA

The participating nations in the U-19 world championship represent a global reach that spans across all four regions -- the Americas (the Caribbean, North- and South-), Asia, Europe, and Oceania. Colombia will be making their maiden trip to the U-19 world event.

All 15 participating National Teams will compete on Opening Day, with action opening on Sunday, 9 August at 12:00 local time.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 18:00 at the OGE Energy Field, which will be followed by USA meeting Chinese Taipei in front of the home crowd.

The gold medal game will take centre stage on 15 August at 19:00, and will be preceded by the bronze medal match at 16:00.

Japan is aiming to repeat as world champions following their gold medal performance at the tenth edition in Brampton, Canada in 2013 by defeating USA 4-0; Australia earned the bronze medal.

The WBSC has a full list of official events on the 2015 calendar that span from June to November which include the Men's Softball World Championship (Saskatoon, Canada), the Pan American Games (Toronto, Canada), the U12 Baseball World Cup (Tainan, Taiwan), the U19 Women's Softball World Championship (Oklahoma City, USA), the U18 Men's Baseball World Cup (Koshien Stadium in Japan), and the inaugural Premier 12 co-hosted by Japan and Chinese Taipei.
