INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Nov. 14, 2011 – Kellogg Company of Battle Creek, Mich., and USA Gymnastics today announced the company’s official sponsorship of gymnastics’ national governing body. As part of a three-year partnership, and its continuing commitment to the U.S. Olympic organization, Kellogg Company will become the title sponsor of both the 2012 Kellogg’s® Tour of Gymnastics Champions, a 40-city national tour featuring Team USA’s top performing gymnasts following the 2012 Olympic Games in London, and the 2012 Kellogg’s® Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships, which will take place March 16-18, 2012, in Everett, Wash.

The Kellogg’s® Tour of Gymnastics Champions sponsorship includes national media rights; in-market media and promotion; in-arena signage; tickets and hospitality; digital and traditional media initiatives; local market activation; and sampling. The post-Olympic tour will feature the USA’s top gymnasts, Olympic medalists and former champions, including those from the 2012 Olympic Games.
Kellogg’s sponsorship also includes rights and benefits at USA Gymnastics’ premier events in 2012 on Universal Sports and/or NBC Sports, including the AT&T American Cup, Kellogg’s® Pacific Rim Championships, Visa Championships and U.S. Olympic Trials. In addition, the two companies will partner on local grassroots initiatives, including sweepstakes, promotions and programs.
Kellogg’s partnership with USA Gymnastics will include access to an amazing team of gymnasts who know that breakfast is a key to unlocking the potential of each day. All Team USA athletes, including USA Gymnastics members and coaches, will have access to the same great breakfast foods and snacks that fans across the country love, from Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes® and Mini-Wheats® cereals to Nutri-Grain® and Special K® cereal bars. Kellogg will serve these products at the U.S. Olympic Training Centers and additional team venues as well as on-site in London to help fuel Team USA.
Kellogg’s Relationship with the USOC
