Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay: Media Library and Media Office to Re-Open

The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (Tokyo 2020) announced today it will resume operation in March of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay Media Library and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay Media Office, both of which will supply information for media organisations covering events related to the Olympic Torch Relay.

The Library will contain press releases, media advisories, information on each day’s Olympic Torch Relay and other press materials. Media organisations wishing to use it will need an ID and password; these can be obtained by following the instructions below. For those that have already registered before the Games’ postponement, an invitation email will be sent to the email address provided to reset the password around 5 March.

Advance application: Wednesday 3 February – Sunday 28 February

Notes:

- If you wish to use the service from the opening date, and/or if you wish to receive media advisories regarding the Torch Relay—which will start from 25 March— please apply by 17 February.

- If you apply after 17 February, there is no guarantee that you will be able to access the Media Library on the opening day (10 March).

- If you registered in 2020 and there are no changes in the information you supplied, you do not need to reapply.
