Dear friends of sport,

We are pleased to announce that ThinkSport, an exciting new initiative, and the first network that brings together the wealth of sport-related expertise and excellence in the region, is officially launching at this year’s SportAccord Convention, which will take place from 17 to 22 April 2016 at the SwissTech Convention Centre in Lausanne.

We are proud to be sharing a stand in the convention’s exhibition area with three of our founding members – the City of Lausanne, the Canton de Vaud, and the Swiss Confederation. It would be our pleasure to welcome you at our stand, discuss our plans for the future and how we might engage with your organisation. Through a series of press events and presentations scheduled to take place during the week, we will also introduce ThinkSport to the wider sporting community

For those unaware of the annual gathering of SportAccord Convention: this 6-day event attracts up to 2,000 delegates including rights holders, organising committees, cities, media, businesses and other organisations involved in the development of sport. Held in a different country each year, the convention also brings together representatives from more than 100 International Sports Federations and enjoys the participation of one of our own founding members, the International Olympic Committee.

SportAccord Convention hasn’t visited Lausanne since 2004, and if you are interested in meeting and learning more about the international sports scene, this would be a great opportunity for your organisation to connect with the key decision-makers in sport - all in one place. We are happy to talk to you about what we will be doing there during the week and help you meet key people.

More information on the convention and what it has to offer anyone interested in the sports movement, can be found in the SportAccord Convention brochure, or on the SAC website at http://www.sportaccordconvention.com/.

Best regards,

Anna Hellman

Director
