The 2021 Sport Climbing calendar is here: the International Federation of Sport Climbing is glad to present its highly anticipated 2021 season, where Sport Climbing will finally make its debut on the Olympic stage, Russia will host both the IFSC Climbing World Championships and the IFSC Youth World Championships, and where a first-time-ever – Jakarta, Indonesia – will close the 2021 IFSC World Cup Series.
Kicking off on April 16, the yearly Series will comprehend a total of 18 events – with Boulder, Lead and Speed being contested six times each – travelling across nine different countries in Asia, Europe and North America.

Midway through the Series, spotlights will turn to Japan, as the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will take place from July 23 to August 8, with Sport Climbing events scheduled from Tuesday, August 3 to Friday, August 6.
Finally, within the first six weeks after the Olympics, two Russian cities will welcome the best sport climbers in the world, hosting the two of the most anticipated events of the IFSC season: first, the IFSC Youth World Championships will land in Voronezh from August 21 to 31; while the 18th edition of the IFSC Climbing World Championships is going to take place in Moscow from September 15 to 22.
