(ATR) The annual gathering of International Federations and leaders in the global sport movement, the SportAccord Convention, is now less than 40 days away with the New Year’s arrival.

Scheduled to be held from April 15-20 in Bangkok, Thailand, the convention will feature more than 90 IFs, 135 cities or regions and more than 350 delegates representing those locations.

The 16th edition of the event will feature the inaugural HealthAccord conference alongside the usual CityAccord, MediaAccord and LawAccord conferences that supplement the program.

Organizers say that delegate passes are limited and exhibition booths and official hotels are rapidly filling up. Register hereto ensure your spot at the annual convention.

2018 Humanitarian Award

The Foundation for Global Sports Development will have a reception and ceremony for the gymnasts who are survivors of abuse and have become leaders and heroes in sport. The Humanitarian Award recognizes individuals and organizations that have stepped up as leaders and champions for social, economic, political or environmental justice and equality.

The Red Carpet event is on April 28th at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills in Los Angeles.

International Sports Convention Returns

The International Sports Convention returns to Geneva, Switzerland once again in December 2018.

The 2018 edition of the convention will integrate both the Sports Broadcast Conference 2018 and the Sports Digital Conference, allowing attendees more opportunities for networking, learning and business development.

ISC 2018 will focus on three main pillars according to organizers: the business of sport, the development of sport and sustainable development goals in sport.

The convention includes 18 sports conferences along with a 6,000 square meter exhibition hall. Attendees will be able to meet federations, leagues, clubs and global sports industry suppliers during the two-day convention.

Organizers expect more than 2,000 delegates to attend the conference that will feature 150 speakers.
