The International Triathlon Union (ITU) today announced that Tribe Solutions Inc. will serve as its exclusive global merchandising and licensing partner until 2020. The Canada-based business will retain the global merchandising and licensing rights for all ITU related properties including ITU’s premier circuit, the World Triathlon Series, in addition to the World Cup circuit and future Multisport World Championships.

"We are excited to partner with Tribe Solutions," said Marisol Casado, ITU President and IOC member. "Tribe Solutions will offer an integrated and dedicated approach to developing and expanding ITU’s official merchandising and licensing program. We know that our athletes and fans have been eager to wear ITU and World Triathlon Series branded apparel, and we are looking forward to making that a reality."

Tribe Solutions will also outfit ITU’s Sport Development Team, as well as top ITU Technical Officials. As a part of the agreement, 100% of the proceeds that ITU receive from the partnership will be invested directly back into the development of the sport.

As ITU’s official licensing agency, Tribe Solutions will aim to partner with the leading industry performance wear manufactures to offer ITU athletes and fans state-of-the-art apparel and merchandise.

In 2015, the deal will see a global World Triathlon Series line available at select WTS events, including the upcoming races in Yokohama and London. ITU’s official online store will open in the coming weeks.
