ITF Board appoints Treasurer, Vice Presidents and Athlete Representatives for 2019-2023

The ITF Board have unanimously re-appointed Mary Pierce (FRA) and Mark Woodforde (AUS) as the two ITF Board Athlete representatives to serve the 2019-23 term.

President David Haggerty said, ‘Mary and Mark have made significant contributions to the ITF Board over the last four years and we are delighted to have them continue another four years to bring the athlete’s voice into our board meetings and help us make informed decisions for the good of tennis and the ITF member nations.’

The ITF Board also unanimously appointed four members in senior leadership roles as officers of the ITF. René Stammbach (SUI) is appointed Treasurer and continues in his role as Chairman of the Finance Committee, with three additional officers in the role of Vice Presidents appointed: Katrina Adams (USA) Immediate Past President of the United States Tennis Association, Bernard Giudicelli (FRA) President of the Fédération Française de Tennis and Bulat Utemuratov (KAZ) President of the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.

David Haggerty added: ‘All four senior leaders bring expertise to the ITF Board. René Stammbach and Katrina Adams bring experience from their previous four years as Vice Presidents with Grand Slam Chairman Bernard Giudicelli and successful business leader Bulat Utemuratov adding great knowledge from inside and outside the world of tennis. These four individuals received the most votes from the AGM for the Board and will assist me as President in implementing our ITF2024 strategy and continuing the transformation of tennis.’
