Out of the thirty-five ASOIF- and AWIOF-recognized International Federations, the International Ski Federation (FIS) tops the REDTORCH social media Engagement League for 2017, with World Rugby (WR) in second and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) in third.

Sport on Social is a free annual report released by REDTORCH analyzing the presence and performance of all International Sports Federations on social media.

The Engagement League illustrated in the report collected and analysed data from all International Federations recognised by either the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) or the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF), and ranked them based on their performance across the four most popular social channels – Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.

The report turned out some surprising results.

Other noticeable rankings are the International Judo Federation (IJF) in sixth, and the International Federation of Gymnastics (ITTF) and International Golf Federation (IGF) further down the League in twenty second and twenty fifth respectively.
