FIBA Secretary General and International Olympic Committee (IOC) Member Patrick Baumann said: "Working together with Airbnb will help us offer basketball fans affordable accommodations during the EuroBasket 2015 games and other events this year."

Airbnb Head of Global Payments and Head of Business Development Lex Bayer said: "We know FIBA is loved by the basketball community around the world, and we’re excited to have Airbnb hosts connect with basketball fans and players. Knowing the FIBA community has diverse travel needs, Airbnb’s array of accommodations will be able to provide them with a local experience as they cheer on their favourite teams at EuroBasket 2015."
