The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) is seeking candidates for two additional independent members on its Board.

The role of the AIU is to protect the integrity of athletics. It does this through education and testing, and by investigating and prosecuting anti-doping rule violations and other breaches of integrity within the World Athletics Rules and Regulations including the Integrity Code of Conduct and Rules based on the World Anti-Doping Code.

The AIU Board governs the Athletics Integrity Unit and is responsible for approving the AIU’s strategy, annual plan, policies and procedures for the Unit. It also monitors the overall performance of the Unit and is required to report to the World Athletics Congress annually and to the World Athletics Council.

Deux postes à pourvoir au sein du Bureau de l’Unité d’intégrité de l’athlétisme – Appel à candidatures

L’Unité d’intégrité de l’athlétisme (UIA) recherche des candidats pour pourvoir deux postes supplémentaires de Membre indépendant au sein de son Bureau.

L’UIA a pour rôle de protéger l’intégrité de l’Athlétisme. Pour ce faire, elle met en œuvre des actions éducatives et des contrôles. Elle diligente des enquêtes et engage des poursuites en cas de violation des règles antidopage et autres manquements à l'intégrité dans le cadre des Règles et des Règlements de World Athletics, y compris le Code de conduite en matière d’intégrité et les règles découlant du Code mondial antidopage.

Le Bureau de l’UIA régit l’Unité d’intégrité de l’athlétisme. Il est également chargé d’approuver la stratégie de l’UIA, son plan annuel, les politiques et les procédures de l’Unité. En outre, il supervise les résultats d’ensemble de l’Unité et doit faire rapport au Congrès de World Athletics chaque année ainsi qu’au Conseil de World Athletics.
