Former artistic gymnast Alexander Vorobyov who represented the Ukraine during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing has lost his father Sergey in the war with Russia.
The 37-year-old bronze medalist announced the tragic news on his Facebook page.
“Burn in hell, Putin’s bitches! The purpose of this post is not pity, but for as many people as possible to wish Putin to die!” – wrote Vorobyov.
His father Sergey Vorobyov was in a firefight against the Russian forces near Izyum. He was part of a volunteer battalion known as the Carpathian Sich.
