(ATR) Since its doors opened last year, the U.S. Center for Safe Sport has recorded in excess of 500 reports from athletes concerning potential instances of abuse.
That number indicates the importance of the center in dealing with abuse, whether it’s verbal, physical or sexual says Shellie Pfohl, the CEO and president of the Denver-based center.
