(ATR) The 2014 Asian Games are underway in Incheon, South Korea.

Around the Rings reporter Aaron Bauer is in Incheon this week to cover the 17th Asiad. He joins ATR's Nicole Bennett to discuss the star-studded--and lengthy--opening ceremony for the Games, the host city for the next edition of the Asiad, and stand-out performances from athletes competing in Incheon.

This is the largest sporting event staged in Asia, hosted by the Olympic Council of Asia, with a program set to feature over 430 events across 36 disciplines. Hockey events will serve as qualifiers for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.

The closing ceremony for the 17th edition of the Asian Games takes place on Oct. 4.
