(ATR) Stay on the good side of Pâquerette Girard-Zappelli say IOC members. She is the secretary of the IOC Ethics Commission, joining the staff in 2000.
In her position she provides advice and direction to the work of the commission which primarily reviews files involving IOC members. She also oversees the code of conduct for cities bidding for the Olympic Games.
Girard-Zappelli is a lawyer from Grenoble, France by training, earning a degree from the University of Grenoble in 1980. Before coming to the IOC she worked as a judge in France, and wrote a textbook on French law.
