(ATR) The woman who led media relations for the 2008 Summer Olympics now has her sights set on the Winter Olympics for the Chinese capital.
Wang Hui joined the staff of Beijing 2022 in March. She leads a staff of 16 in the bid media office.
Wang was a familiar face in the lead up to the 2008 Olympics and Paralympics as she conducted press conferences.
Beijing is one of three cities in the final phase of the race for the 2022 Winter Olympics. Almaty and Oslo are the other two bidders.
Beijing proposes using indoor venues built for 2008 to serve ice events while snow and sliding events would be held at venues two hours north of the city.
