Turkmenistan made sure that its weightlifterYulduz Jumabayeva received all the fanfare she deserved for winning a gold medal at the 2018 IWF World Championships.
The country's president, who is also the head of the National Olympic Committee, handed out the medal to Jumabayeva, who was reallocated from silver to gold thanks to a doping violation by the Thai lifter who had finished ahead of her.
