La Russie n’avait vraiment pas besoin d’une nouvelle affaire. Toujours sous la menace d’une suspension de quatre ans du mouvement olympique, le sport russe est pointé du doigt pour ses pratiques dopantes dans un livre à charge à paraître en fin de semaine dans sa version anglaise.
L’auteur n’est pas un inconnu. Grigory Rodchenkov, l’ancien patron du laboratoire antidopage de Moscou, est entré à la postérité comme lanceur d’alerte. Ses révélations en 2015, délivrées depuis les Etats-Unis où il vit en exil, ont été à l’origine du scandale du dopage russe aux Jeux d’hiver de Sotchi en 2014. Elles ont alimenté le rapport McLaren.
Cinq ans après sa première bombe, Grigory Rodchenkov récidive. Le scientifique russe signe une autobiographie trempée dans le souffre.
