(ATR) The first-ever medals sweep by France at a Winter Olympics guaranteed the party would last well into the night Thursday.
France took gold, silver and bronze in skicross Thursday. The party started soon after and was still going after 2:00 AM on Friday.
Among those enjoying the festivities were French alpine downhill ski great Luc Alphand.
Also there to lend support were the parents of Nordic combined skier Jason Lamy-Chappuis, the flagbearer in the opening ceremony.
