Jetset Signs With FEI
The International Equestrian Federation announced a six-year agreement with JetSet Sports to provide Olympic hospitality packages.
JetSet will be FEI’s exclusive hospitality partner, and provide stakeholders with hospitality packages for the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics.
"It is fantastic that Jet Set Sports has signed as a sponsor. They will be able to offer our stakeholders a series of top-quality hospitality packages for world class sporting events," Isa Lazarus, FEI chief of business development & strategy, told Around the Rings.
JetSet will also provide packages for FEI events for the duration of the partnership.
"We are delighted that Jet Set Sports recognize the compelling demographic that our fans and stakeholders offer."
Commonwealth Games Alcohol Provider
Heineken has been named the official beer and cider provider for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
"As a strong supporter a company with a strong base in Scotland, we are pleased to bring Heineken on board as our official beer and cider provider," Glasgow 2014 chief executive David Grevemberg said in a statement.
Heineken beer and Bulmers cider will be available at all competition venues, while Caledonian Brewery will produce a one-of-a-kind ale for the Games.
"We will be working with them to encourage spectators to celebrate responsibly while being part of the largest and most exciting multi-sport event in Scotland this summer."
Coca-Cola Promotes More Executives
In a further shakeup of their executives, Coca-Cola announced that Wendy Clark will be taking over the company’s North American business.
Clark’s official title will be president, sparkling and strategic marketing, Coca-Cola North America, while Katie Bayne will assume Wendy Clark’s previous title, senior VP, global sparkling brand center.
In a memo to the company, Coca-Cola said the promotions will "accelerate the profitable growth of Coca-Cola through world class marketing -- both in North America and markets around the world."
