New Rio Website Will Mark Two Years to Go

(ATR) Rio 2016 will relaunch its website with the official Look of the Games to mark two-years-to-go to the 2016 Olympics.

Celebrations will take place over two days, with a press conference on August 4, and the design showcased at the mayor’s office on August 5, the two year mark.

The Look of the Games will present the Rio 2016 design scheme for the Olympics to be featured on medals, venues, uniforms, and merchandise.

Broadcasters Meet in Rio

Around 59 broadcast organizations met in Copacabana for the World Broadcasters meeting last week.

This was the second broadcasters meeting and 250 participants took part.

The meeting took place from July 20-25 and included a venue tour and a report on the Olympic Broadcasting Service 2016 operational plan.

Rio 2016 briefed participants with updates on sports, venues, transport, accommodation, accreditation, security.

Broadcasters were also able to meet with OBS to discuss specific broadcast requirements ahead of the Games.
